Effective Date: May 9, 2026 · Last Updated: May 9, 2026

Welcome to Docs2Video.com ("Docs2Video," "we," "us," or "our"). These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Docs2Video platform, website, and related services (collectively, the "Service"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

Docs2Video is operated by Docs2Video.com, located at 27675 Nelson Way, 225, Katy, Texas 77494.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account, accessing, or using the Service in any way, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you are using the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent and warrant that you have the authority to bind that organization to these Terms.

We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms at any time. Your continued use of the Service after any changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. We will make reasonable efforts to notify you of material changes via email or in-app notification.

2. Description of Service

Docs2Video is a software-as-a-service (SaaS) platform that transforms documents (including PDFs, text files, and user-provided ideas) into professional, branded video explainers. The Service uses artificial intelligence technologies to:

  • Extract and analyze data from uploaded documents using Google Gemini AI
  • Generate presentation slides with branded layouts
  • Write narration scripts based on extracted content
  • Produce voiceover audio using OpenAI text-to-speech technology
  • Compile final video explainers combining slides, narration, and branding
  • Provide shareable public links for distributing generated videos

The Service is provided on an "as available" basis. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time, with or without notice.

3. Account Registration and Responsibilities

To use certain features of the Service, you must create an account. When registering, you agree to:

  1. Provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration.
  2. Maintain and promptly update your account information to keep it accurate.
  3. Maintain the security and confidentiality of your login credentials.
  4. Accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account.
  5. Notify us immediately at support@docs2video.com if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.

You must be at least 18 years of age to create an account and use the Service. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or that we reasonably believe are being used fraudulently.

4. Subscription Plans, Billing, Credits, and Refund Policy

4.1 Subscription Plans

Docs2Video offers the following subscription tiers: Free (Demo), Starter, Professional, and Agency. Each plan includes different usage limits, features, and capabilities as described on our pricing page. Plan details and pricing are subject to change with reasonable advance notice.

4.2 Billing

Paid subscriptions are billed on a monthly recurring basis through Stripe, our third-party payment processor. By subscribing to a paid plan, you authorize us to charge the payment method on file for recurring fees until you cancel. All fees are quoted and charged in U.S. dollars unless otherwise indicated.

4.3 Pay-Per-Use Credits

In addition to subscription plans, Docs2Video offers pay-per-use credit packs that allow you to purchase individual video explainers without a subscription. Credits are non-transferable and do not expire. Purchased credits are non-refundable once used.

4.4 Free Tier and Demo Videos

The free (Demo) tier allows users to generate a limited number of watermarked video explainers for evaluation purposes. Watermarked demo videos are intended solely for evaluation and may not be used for commercial distribution or client-facing purposes. Upgrading to a paid plan removes watermarks.

4.5 Refund Policy

Subscription fees are generally non-refundable. However, if you are dissatisfied with the Service, you may contact us at support@docs2video.com within 14 days of your initial purchase to request a refund. Refund requests after 14 days will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis. Unused credits from credit packs may be refunded within 30 days of purchase if no credits from the pack have been used.

4.6 Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. Upon cancellation, you will retain access to your paid plan features until the end of your current billing period. No partial refunds will be issued for unused portions of a billing cycle.

5. User Content and Intellectual Property

5.1 Your Content

You retain all ownership rights to the documents, files, text, images, and other materials you upload to the Service ("User Content"). By uploading User Content, you grant Docs2Video a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to process, transform, and store your content solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you.

5.2 Generated Output

Videos, slides, scripts, and other materials generated by the Service from your User Content ("Generated Output") are owned by you, subject to any limitations of your subscription plan. You are solely responsible for reviewing Generated Output for accuracy before distributing it.

5.3 Our Intellectual Property

The Service, including its software, design, templates, branding elements, algorithms, and documentation, is the intellectual property of Docs2Video and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the Service or its underlying technology.

5.4 Feedback

If you provide us with suggestions, ideas, or feedback regarding the Service, you grant us an unrestricted, perpetual, irrevocable, royalty-free license to use such feedback for any purpose without compensation or attribution to you.

6. AI-Generated Content Disclaimer

The Service uses artificial intelligence technologies (including Google Gemini and OpenAI) to process documents and generate video content. You acknowledge and agree that:

  3. AI models may produce unexpected results. The underlying AI models are provided by third parties and may be updated, modified, or discontinued at any time, potentially affecting the quality or characteristics of Generated Output.
  4. No guarantee of consistency. Processing the same document multiple times may produce different results due to the nature of AI processing.

7. Acceptable Use Policy

We reserve the right to investigate and take appropriate action against anyone who violates this policy, including removing content, suspending or terminating accounts, and reporting violations to law enforcement authorities.

8. Share Pages and Public Links

The Service allows you to share generated videos via public links ("Share Pages"). You acknowledge and agree that:

  1. Any content shared via a public link is accessible to anyone who has the link. Docs2Video does not restrict access to Share Pages based on authentication.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, AND ANY WARRANTIES ARISING OUT OF COURSE OF DEALING OR USAGE OF TRADE.

WITHOUT LIMITING THE FOREGOING, DOCS2VIDEO DOES NOT WARRANT THAT:

  1. The Service will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free;
